Welcome to our blog, No Finish Line, which was originally set up for our Everest Marathon 2017 challenge. As the new name suggests, we've not stopped running – and in recent years we've added cycling into the mix – as there's no finish line until there's a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.
In previous years, we've supported Alzheimer's Research UK in memory of Mike's Dad. In 2024 we'll be supporting Cancer Research UK, in recognition of Mike's own diagnosis with cancer at the end of 2022.
WHO ARE WE
We are Christine Baker and Mike Curtis, living in Northamptonshire. We've been running and fundraising for the Motor Neurone Disease Association since 2006, Alzheimer's Research UK since 2017, and in 2024 Cancer Research UK.
The challenges have increased in scale and quantity including marathons, ultra-marathons, and in 2017 the Everest Marathon.
