There are 70 days to go until we attempt the Everest Marathon, 3 weeks until Christine runs the Brighton marathon and 5 weeks until I run the London marathon. This weekend I had my first long run of this training period - 18 miles. For those that know the east
midlands or Cambridgeshire we ran around Grafham Water - TWICE !!
I'll not lie it was tough work but we both completed it with a bit to spare. The route undulates quite a bit which is a good thing for our training but woefully inadequate given what we'll face in Nepal.
Still we'll do this challenge for those suffering with Motor Neurone Disease and Alzheimer's. First things first we have some road marathons to worry about.
